NBA Jam On Fire Edition Review
With physics-defying dunks, players with oversized heads, and the ability to set people on fire, the NBA Jam series is not an authentic take on anything. It is, however, a hell of a lot of fun, especially with a group of friends. With the cancellation of NBA Elite 11 last year, the previously downloadable-bonus-only NBA Jam quickly became EA Sports’ only basketball title upon its release in November 2010. Luckily for EA, the game received strong reviews and decent sales, and has now returned in the form of NBA Jam: On Fire Edition

Trine 2 Review
Trine 2 takes place a few years after the events of the first game. The mystical object Trine gathers the three heroes from the last game: Amadeus the wizard, Pontius the Knight and Zoya the thief, and transports them to a strange new land that needs their help. The first game was an indie hit, will the second game continue that tradition or will this tale have an unhappy ever after ending?

Parasite Eve 2 Review
Parasite Eve 2 comes from a time when Square Enix was merely Squaresoft, FMVs were the height of graphical sophistication, and a memory card was a necessity, just in case you ever wanted to turn your console off. The original Parasite Eve was a success, both critically and commercially, and thus it received a much overdue re-release on the Playstation store earlier this year under the PSOne Classics label. Parasite Eve 2 quickly followed suit, released in its original 4:3 aspect ‘glory’, with some decidedly aged graphics.

Baseball Stars 2 Review
The only thing more American than playing baseball is playing video games about baseball. Not just any baseball game, but the classic arcade game Baseball Stars 2. SNK has been on a nostalgia trip lately, releasing some of their most popular arcade games of the 90’s. Baseball Stars 2 is right up there with KOF and Metal Slug.

Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure Review
Toys and video games often go hand in hand with each other. Be it figures from the game or well known toys getting their own video game, these are the two things that everyone one likes. What if you combined both of them? What if your little figures could be transported into a game and they joined you in an adventure to save the world? You would get Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure.

Renegade Ops Review
Renegade Ops is a new top down shooter from Sega, and utilizes dual analog sticks for both movement and firing like some arcade hits from the eighties such as Smash TV. I used to play games like Renegade Ops with my dad as a kid; simple shooters where the only objective was to ruin everything in sight. In a year full of big name titles, there may not be room for a straightforward action game in the mass market. But for those of us who remember another time where all we needed was a few machine guns, a paper thin plot about terrorists, and an objective list full of destructible targets, how does Renegade Ops stack up?

Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland Review
Atelier Totori could fairly be described as one of their more obscure games, coming from the lesser known Atelier franchise of RPG's. Though it will certainly be overshadowed by the recent Disgaea 4 and other big name titles coming out around this time of year, does it truly deserve to be?

God of War Origins Collection Review
God of War Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta are two of the bestselling games for the PSP. They managed to capture the rage and anger of Kratos, his blood filled rampage and his tragic story all onto their individual UMDs. Now, most people who played those games had the same thought, Man, this would be so great on the PS3. Sony, in conjunction with Ready at Dawn and Santa Monica, have answered that call with the God of War Origins Collection.

Elevator Action Deluxe Review
The original Elevator Action hailed from a time when you could tell what was in a game just by its name: there were asteroids in Asteroids, a centipede in Centipede, and Elevator Action had both elevators and action. While Elevator Action didn't set the world on fire in 1983, it was a fun arcade game with unique gameplay and subject matter for its time.

Shock Troopers Review
Shock Troopers is one of many different SNK arcade titles that are receiving a port to PSN. Porting older titles to both PSN and XBLA is hardly a new endeavor as the practice has been happening for a few years now on both platforms. With Shock Troopers and the other games the question remains how well does an older title with some new features hold up in today’s industry?
