NBA Jam On Fire Edition Review
With physics-defying dunks, players with oversized heads, and the ability to set people on fire, the NBA Jam series is not an authentic take on anything. It is, however, a hell of a lot of fun, especially with a group of friends. With the cancellation of NBA Elite 11 last ye... [read more]
Sonic Generations 3D Review
This video notwithstanding, I have been fairly kind to Sonic the Hedgehog, giving the 3DS version of Sonic Colors a 9, and an 8.5 to Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 . This is partially because I am a newcomer to Sonic’s games, and partially because Sega has been putting a ... [read more]

Section 8: Prejudice Review
Section 8: Prejudice has recently joined the trend of XBLA titles that are being ported to the PSN. Prejudice is a downloadable only follow up to Section 8. The first person shooter genre has not received all that much treatment in the downloadable market, which is strange because the short nature of shooter campaigns would seem to lend themselves to that segment. Due in part to a lack of downloadable competition and a summer drought of shooters, Section 8: Prejudice manages to be an overall enjoyable experience, most notably for its multiplayer, but also for the surprising 4-6 hour single player experience as well.

Limbo Review
Summer 2010 bore witness to a little-known title at the time known as Limbo, which acted as the headliner for XBLA’ s Summer Arcade line-up. At the time it received critical acclaim for both its simplicity and unique visual charm. It was only a matter of time until the game was ported to PSN. This week, this finally became reality, and so it is time to see if the game translated itself as well to a different console.

Lucha Fury Review
With the recent release of Trenched, Double Fine’s latest XBLA-only title, it can be easy to overlook the other titles that were released at the same time. Such is the case for Puncher Impacts' Lucha Fury. It is a shame that such titles are overlooked because they can possibly fly under the radar and gather a cult following. Other times no problems arise from the game being unnoticed because of the low overall quality, and such is the case for Lucha Fury.

Like Madden or the inevitable movie tie-ins, LEGO games are starting to be more commonplace, leaving no license safe from their blocky heads and stackable bodies.
