Announced at last year's E3, Hitman: Absolution is going to be the newest entry into the series featuring everyone favorite poker-faced assassin, Agent 47. After many teases and supposed leaks for the game, the first trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is here. As the first Black Ops game took place during the 60s, the sequel seems to be taking place in present time or in the future. Kind of strange considering that Treyarch was seemingly the team to focus on non-modern Call of Duty games like World at War and Black Ops. [read more]

Adventurers Rejoice! Alongside the release of today’s Kinect-enabling update, Bethesda has announced the first downloadable content for one of 2011’s greatest RPGs, Skyrim. Entitled Dawnguard, not much is known about the content aside from its Summer 2012 release date. Bethesda has promised more information at E3 next month, but the eerily-glowing eyes in the promotional picture may give some cause for concern. [read more]

In two week, gamers will be playing the role of Max Payne once again in Max Payne 3. If you've already pre-ordered your copy of the game, you may also want to pre-order the DLC for it. I'm sure that we've seen our share of parodies of the game industry. But in NIS's new game Hyperdimention Neptuna Mk.2, the developer goes one step further and turns the industry into a parody world that has participating companies represented as cute moe girls. Are video game companies in the form of anime girls a good itdea for a game or is NIS just taking advantage of otaku by just filling the game with cute moe girls? [read more]

Is crowd funding the way of the future?

Absolutely. It gives power to the gamers by letting them pay for the games they want to see.
Nope. Crowd sourcing will be fine for a year or two until too many developers do not follow through with their games and waste our money.
