The last and final transmission for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance has been released, this time the theme for the video is “Sword”:

In this final look at Raiden’s past, we see a man tied to a chair being interrogated in front of a young Jack. As he is being beaten and then shot in the shoulder, Jack tries to look away. A voice then shouts for him to look and listen. Although the trailer doesn’t state it, that voice belongs to Solidus Snake, and he gives Jack a speech on how killing with a blade is much more honorable, more intimate, than shooting with a gun. The trailer ends with Raiden recovered and is presented with a new sword as we see his outstretched cybernetic arm. While most people have express rage against the trailers, I personally like them and how they continue the tradition of messing with everyone’s mind. Hopefully the purpose and the story behind the trailers are revealed when Konami has their pre-E3 event at the end of the month,
