By now almost everyone has seen clips of the various locations and characters in Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance in the Japanese trailers over the past few months. In addition to the news about the upcoming demo of the game, Square Enix has also updated the official website with a new trailer, but this time with the English voice cast:
The first half of the trailer shows off some of the cut scenes in the game with the English voice cast. Haley Joel Osment and David Gallagher return once again to reprise their roles as Sora and Riku, while it is uncertain if Kari will be voiced again by Hayden Panettiere or Alyson Stoner. We also see the Tron Legacy level and the characters Kevin Flynn, Sam Flynn and Quorra. It is also uncertain if Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde will reprise their roles in the game. Tron Legacy was a Disney movie after all and this has the most Disney characters showing up in the series to date, so there might be a possibility that we’ll see "The Dude" in video game form. The second half of the trailer shows off the gameplay mechanics, including the AR cards for dream eaters. The trailer ends with more cut scenes from the game and a clue as to the plot of the game. Fans of the series will have a chance to learn once and for all the fate of Sora and friends when the game releases July 31th.
