
With over 100,000 copies sold and over 400,000 unique player entries on the scoreboard, Minecraft: Xbox360 Edition on Xbox Live Arcade became profitable in just an hour of its release. The adventure game Minecraft: Xbox360 by Mojang was released on May 9 and broke the previous sales record held by Trails Evolution which was released in April.
The new Minecraft offers large new worlds to explore and a multiplayer with much less lag. Though it’s been reported that the enemies can get annoying, there is the option to play without the threat of being attacked. And with a tutorial mode, gameplay becomes much more accessible with added features such as items automatically being created as you collect the necessary materials.
