God of War Ascension jumps on multiplayer bandwagon
Posted on April 30, 2012 by OG

You know what I always said the God of War series needed?  Multiplayer!  Wait, I never said that because it never crossed my mind as it would be a bit of a dumb move.  Well, goes to show what I know because god of War Ascension will have multiplayer.

A preview of God of War Ascension from Gamesradar.com shows a 4 vs. 4 multiplayer.  In the video, both teams are on a stage where a giant cyclops is in chains.  Once the red team killed off the blue team, in a very God of War fashion which mean brutal as hell, the red team then teams up to kill the cyclops.  It appears that Kratos isn't in the multiplayer with players seemingly playing as warriors with moves similar to Kratos.  I'm sure we'll get more details on this new addition to the series, and then from there decide if it's a horrible idea or a worthy addition.

Is crowd funding the way of the future?

Absolutely. It gives power to the gamers by letting them pay for the games they want to see.
Nope. Crowd sourcing will be fine for a year or two until too many developers do not follow through with their games and waste our money.
