First trailer for Assassin's Creed III released

After a leaked image and a full reveal in Game Informer, Ubisoft released the first official trailer for Assassin's Creed III, the latest numbered game in the series. It has been confirmed that the fight between the Assassins and the Templars has shifted from the Middle East and Rome to 18th century Revolutionary War America. The trailer starts with the unnamed assassin ambushing some Redcoats and ends with a rousing speech from the founding father and general of the Continental Army, George Washington, right before the Battle of Long Island: 

 

The Assassin's Creed games have been interesting so far with their historical settings and taking place in critical points in history. There are many possibilities that Ubisoft can take with having the game set in Revolutionary War America, maybe against the Illuminati or even rouge Freemasons? Who know, but hopefully we’ll find out more when E3 rolls around and when the game releases October 30.
