Get a free night of gaming from Redbox
Posted on February 24, 2012 by OG

Last year, Redbox began renting out games at their kiosks all across the country for $2 a night.  From February 26th to March 1st, Redbox will let you get that first night of gaming for free.  All you have to do is setup a rental reservation via the Redbox website and pick-up the game at the location of your choice.  You’ll need a credit card to setup the reservation, and if you keep the game for longer than that first night, you will get charged the $2.  The game selection at Redbox is not the greatest variety, but most locations will have a couple of new or popular titles available.  So if there’s a game you want to try out before you buy it, or if you think you can beat a game in one night, you might want to jump on this deal.

Is crowd funding the way of the future?

Absolutely. It gives power to the gamers by letting them pay for the games they want to see.
Nope. Crowd sourcing will be fine for a year or two until too many developers do not follow through with their games and waste our money.
