Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker trailer released
Posted on December 22, 2011 by MikeV

A few months back it was announced that EA and Bioware were teaming up with Texas-based localization company, Funimation, and Japanese anime studio T.O. Entertainment to create anime films of some of their games. It seems that the first one will be out next year. Today, T.O. Entertainment has released a trailer to Dragon Age: Blood Mage no Seisen (Crusade) or Dawn of the Seeker, its English title.

The full length movie will star Chiaki Kuriyama (Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill Vol. 1) as Knight Casssandra Pentaghast, Shosuke Tanihara (Riki  Fudoh from Fudoh) as mage Regalyan D’Marcall and singer Gackt (Genesis from Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus)as a yet named Knight Commander. I think the film looks awesome, it has that Dragon Age feel to it since the original writer Jeffrey Scott is writing the script. The movie is set to release in Japan February 11, 2012. There’s no word if the film will reach the US but be expecting an announcement either at Anime Expo or SDCC next year about it.
