Rockstar has finally announced the realease date for Max Payne 3, a title thought lost in development hell. The game picks up right where Max Payne 2 left off. The story so far is that Max begins a new life in Sao Paulo, Brazil, trying to escape the memories of his past. He now works as private security protecting a wealthy industrialist and his family. Gangs start to target the family under his protection and is now force to fight to save them and to face the demons that tortured him in the past.
Rockstar Games, in colaberation with all their global studios, plan to "utilize cutting edge technology for a seamless, cinematic action experience, incorporating the latest advances in Natural Motion physics as well as a brand new iteration of the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine, resulting in highly-refined gameplay with an extensive range of realistic weaponry, an intelligent cover system and sophisticated Bullet-Time mechanics."
Also in a series first, Max Payne 3 will include multiplayer. They plan to deliver all of the traditional mp mode with a deep reward and levling ystem, clans and multiple loadouts.
The game is on a projected release date of March 2012.
