New Soul Calibur V Trailer with Gameplay
Posted on June 03, 2011 by

Namco dropped a new trailer on us today, showing some dynamic shots of the actual fighting. Some extra fighters are more or less confirmed in the trailer, and it looks like they added "Ultra" like moves ala Street Fighter.

If my eyes don't deceive me, I believe the trailer shows Cassandra (or possibly Cassandra's daughter), Siegfried, the new character Patroklos, and Mitsurugi. The samurai is no surprise to me, seeing as how he has always been a fan favorite, and great for beginners.

Looks like we may have a chance to see Soul Calibur V in a playable form at E3 2011. The early reports after the game's intial reveal stated it was only about 10 percent complete. What that 10 percent includes, or if that statement was misleading, remains to be seen.
