GDC 2011: New Double Fine reveals new game, Trenched, for XBLA
Posted on March 03, 2011 by Wayne

With the recent release of Double Fine’s Stacking on both the PSN and XBLA, players can now eagerly anticipate the developer’s most recently announced title, Trenched. Trenched, as of now only available for XBLA, will feature both shooter and tower defense elements. Players will assume the role of the Mobile Trench Brigade as they protect the Earth from an alien organization known as Monolith. As can be inferred by the name, players will control a mech suit as they battle the aliens, and it will have many different customizable options. There will also be an online cooperative mode. With so many blockbuster titles slated to release this year, it is encouraging to see one developer dedicated to downloadable titles.
