Square Enix dates Tomb Raider Trilogy Pack
Posted on January 06, 2011 by Roy

In a press release sent out today by Square Enix, that have announced the release date of Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider Trilogy Pack exclusively for the PS3. The three games will be on a Blue-Ray disk and will be coming out March 22, 2011 at the discounted price of $39.99. As stated in a previous news post, the Trilogy Pack will contain newly remastered PS2 versions of Tomb Raider Legends and Anniversary, along with the PS3 release of Underworld. In addition to trophy support for the games, additional items are also packed in exclusive for the PS3. Bonus items include a XMB theme pack, the official Laura Croft female HOME avatar outfit, the Viking Thrall male HOME avatar outfit and a collection of making of trailers for all the games.

We’re really excited to be able to offer gamers the chance to play both Legend and Anniversary remastered in high definition on the PlayStation3. These are two titles we are extremely proud to have created. says Darrell Gallagher, Head of Studio, Crystal Dynamics in the press release.

With a reboot coming in the next few months, Crystal Dynamics is working hard to bring back the Tomb Raider series and Laura Croft back into the limelight with this HD pack. Hopefully this sells well enough for Sony to remaster more of PS2 fan favorites.

No because I'm a big fan of The Elder Scrolls and the idea of a MMORPG version of the game sounds horrible.
