Released originally for the Wii U, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge fixed some of the issues with Ninja Gaiden 3. Did Razor’s Edge add enough content to warrant a disc re-release or is it just repackaging of last year’s game?

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 Review
The manliest man in all of anime and manga is back to rain down his rage once again in Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2. One would think that since the first game only covered half of the source material, the sequel would cover the second half. This isn’t the case as Tecmo Koei has decided to do a “do over” and start the game from scratch.

Developed by Firaxis as the studio’s first departure from a game created by Sid Meier, these guys are known for some of the deepest strategy experiences available in video games. Can this wealth of experience bring new life to the series on the current consoles?

Legasista, in Japan, received a disc release and from early trailers to Japanese gameplay video, it looked to be a game that everyone wanted to play. It gained enough interest that NISA decided to bring it over to the US in digital form. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Review
Meet Sonic, his friends, and a plethora of symbolic Sega characters from the last 20 years as they duke it out in the gentleman's sport of competitive racing, with a twist Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. As a whole, it's an unique spin on the cart racing genre. The question is whether these new features are game sellers, or cheap gimmicks?

Mugen Souls Review
Ever wondered why heroes do the things they do in RPGs? Or why female characters are made to wear the skimpiest armor? Compile Heart is back to answer those questions and more. The last time we saw these two developers was in HyperDimension Neptunia Mk 2., parodying and poking fun at the video game industry. This time they are taking a look at video games themselves, RPGs in particular, with their new game Mugen Souls.

Traditional role-playing games have always contrasted from the fantasy era of literature with goblins and orcs. Sorcery Review
While most gamers dismiss motion controls as being nothing but a gimmick and the bane of video games, I embrace them and feel that they have potential to give new experiences. Haven’t you ever wanted to actually wield a wizard’s wand and cast magic using something that isn’t a controller? Sorcery from The Workshop and Sony Santa Monica does that and puts you in the shoes of a wizard in training. Will the game cast its magic and charm players, or will its spell backfire and blow up in your face?

Anomaly: Warzone Earth Review
Released earlier this year on Xbox Live Arcade, Anomaly: Warzone Earth has finally arrived on the Playstation Network. Unfortunately, this tower defense game isn’t for everyone. There is a reason the tower defense genre is still a niche market despite all that Anomaly has going for it. Despite a few flaws, Anomaly: Warzone Earth is a great game that I’m sure many strategy fans will enjoy and play for hours on end.

Papo & Yo, a PS3 exclusive downloadable title, is a straight to the point platformer with no mix-up of other genres. The main character, Quico, is having family problems and he is attempting to run away from them the only way he knows how: using his imagination. Through the game’s subliminal storytelling and a mix of your creative spirit, you’ll be able to understand the sort of distress that the boy is going through.

As always, the Summer months means a drought of games. Nothing really big comes out and gamers complain that nothing good is out and wish it was the holiday season already. If there was one studio and game series that is synonymous with the PSN Store it would have to be Q-Games and PixelJunk. Starting with PixelJunk Racers, the studio didn’t reach critical acclaim until their PixelJunk Monsters. The latest entry to the PixelJunk family is the music game called PixelJunk 4am.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 Review
I'm sure that we've seen our share of parodies of the game industry. But in NIS's new game Hyperdimention Neptuna Mk.2, the developer goes one step further and turns the industry into a parody world that has participating companies represented as cute moe girls. Are video game companies in the form of anime girls a good itdea for a game or is NIS just taking advantage of otaku by just filling the game with cute moe girls?
