The latest Nintendo Direct had info about some up Nintendo's upcoming games, but let's face it, the start of the show was Star Fox Zero.
Star Fox Zero has you take on Andross' again, but this time Nintendo added some additions to the gameplay. Players can now branch off onto different paths based on what they do during a level. Find the alternative route and not only will there be a different boss, but there will also be a different map when you defeat the boss. Since this is on the Wii U, two players can control one Airwing. One player will control the ship while the other will control the ship's weapons.
Along with Star Fox Zero, a game originally shown at E3 2014 will release on the same day. Star Fox Guard has players assisting Slippy Toad's uncle, Grippy, against waves of robots at his mining factory. Players will have to switch between cameras in order to take out the robots. The game also allows players to create their own levels and upload them for others to play.
Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard will release on April 22. Retail versions of Star Fox Zero will come with Star Fox Guard, although Star Fox Guard can be purchased digitally.
