This morning, Naughty Dog announced that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s release date has been delayed until Spring 2016.
Uncharted Directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckman stated that it was a difficult choice to delay the game’s 2015 release date, but it was done to ensure that the game met the standards of gamers and Naughty Dog alike.
The PlayStation Experience trailer that was released in December 2014, where Drake can be seen risking life and limb navigating through caves, scaling cliffs, and brawling in the jungle, accompanied the announcement. Given the improvements that can be already seen in the trailer, the extra effort being applied to Uncharted 4’s development is promising.
