PC gaming is about to get portable with Steamboy
Posted on June 13, 2014 by Oscar Gonzalez

PC gaming has never been one for portability. There are a few devices that have done the trick, but there hasn't been a real portable gaming device. In 2015, there may be one with the Steamboy.

Revealed yesterday via a YouTube video, Steamboy is a portable PC gaming device to let you play your Steam games while on the go. Aside from the design that resembles the Steam Controller with the two touch page, eight face buttons, four trigger buttons and two action buttons in the back, not much else is shown in the video. However, the Escapist reported that they were given some specs for the device from the company working on it, stating that it should feature a Quad-Core CPU, 4GB of Ram, 32GB built-in memory and 5" 16:9 touchscreen.

Those specs are a little light for most games these days, and who knows if the Steamboy will actually make its way to market.
