Deadpool developer High Moon Studios suffers layoffs
Posted on April 02, 2013 by

Deadpool is known for his crazy and unpredicable antics in comics. But not even he could predict the actions of Activion. According to a report by Kotaku, High Moon Studios have finished development of the Deadpool game. While this should be cause for celebration among the developers, that will have to wait. Activision has laid off at majority of the people at High Moon Studios.

In addition to those layoffs, an additional 40 people globally also have been laid off. It's always a shame to hear that people are let go after completing development on a project, but usually that doesn't happen until the game has gone gold. In any case, good luck to those who have lost their jobs and we ll hope they find work soon.
