PS Vita price cut in Japan
Posted on February 18, 2013 by Drew Bergmark

With only a handful of hours before the Japanese live-stream, Sony linked to a UStream account named PS Vita 2013. As the stream was 3am EST, there weren’t any English translations as the entire 40 minute pre-recorded video consisted of just Japanese. That's not what you clicked on this for though.
At the beginning of the presentation, it was announced that the PS Vita would be receiving a price cut to 19,980 yen which equates to $215 for either the 3G + Wi-Fi model or the simply Wi-Fi model. The price cut will be coming on February 28th and there hasn't been a price cut announced for the states as the presentation was meant for Japanese viewers primarily. I'm sure on Wednesday in New York; we'll hear something about the Vita.
