Tribes Ascend gets a Game of The Year edition with new updates and gear

One of the best MMO Shooters of 2012, Tribes Ascend is getting a Game of The Year edition. This now gives two ways for players to play the game: 1) They can continue to play for free and either earn gear or pay for it through micro-transactions or 2) they can buy the GoTY editon and get all of the existing maps, weapons, perks and classes for one single price.
To celebrate the occation, a trailer annoucning the GoTY edition was release and was accually made by the Tribes Ascend Korean clan:
Tribes Ascend GoTY will have the following and is avaiable to download now:
- 6 new maps (free to everyone who plays Tribes: Ascend)
- All previously released map content
- All previously released weapon, class, and perk content
- New shocklance weapon
