Details about Killzone: Mercenary are revealed, and a gameplay trailer is released
Posted on January 30, 2013 by MikeV

When the Vita was first shown off during E3 2011, one of the games that was use to sell the system as a console experience in the palm of your hands was a Killzone game called Killzone: Mercenary.

Since then, there hasn't been much info about the game or even any examples of the gameplay in action. Now that the Vita is reaching is first year anniversary, Guerrilla Games producer Poria Torkan visited the Playstation blog to give brand new information about Killzone Mercenary and show off the first gameplay trailer for it.

First the trailer:

Mercenary takes place after the events of the first Killzone and throughout many events in the trilogy. Players are in the boots of former UCA solider turn mercenary Arran Danner. He has no problems doing dirty work for either the ISA or the Helgast, the only thing that matters is who has the bigger paycheck. Killzone: Mercenary is specially taliored to the Vita, all the while using the Killzone 3 engine and pushing the systems gaphics as far as it can go.

Killzone:  Mercenary is set for a September 17, 2013 release, so hopefully there's a playable demo at this coming E3.

What did you think of the Xbox One reveal?

It was awesome! I already have one pre-ordered!!
It could have been better, but I think there's potential.
Microsoft needs to get their shit together before I buy this thing.
This piece of junk is going to fail faster than Windows ME.
