For those unaware, the popular 2003 MMORPG released by CCP Games has merged with the new console shooter title Dust 514. As players on Eve Online will control transactions and battles between corporations, gamers will be shooting their way through battles to earn their corporate overlords some rewards. This is the first time that two games from two different platforms have ever merged online capability to intertwine actions between both games. While players from EVE Online might never interact with those on Dust 514, players on the free-to-play shooter will be taking PC gamers orders.
During the summer, Dust 514 opened to Playstation Plus subscribers, but as of 11am EST (-5 GMT), servers between the two games officially merged. For those looking to get a deal on some weapons and armor for the PSN title, you can check the source link below to purchase in-game items. The game is still in 'beta' but similar to The War Z the money you spend now won't be given back when character resets occur when the title goes gold.
