Giant bugs, souls of demons, Dead Space 3 digital pre-order and more are a part of this week's The Drop
Posted on January 08, 2013 by MikeV

In addition to the PS Plus update that went up today, several games made their way on to the PSN Store. First off, those who prefer their new games digital, Dead Space 3 is now available for pre-order. For those who do pre-order the game on PSN, it will come with an exclusive theme.

Demon's Souls finally makes its way to the PSN today, with a Pure White World Tendency event that lasts till next week. If you haven't had a chance to get your soul crushed, the game is only $20 and is worth the buy.

Kaiju (aka Japanese monster movies) have always have been a favorite of mine. And no other game captures the over the top B movie feel of these live action movies other than the Earth Defense Force series of games. Now you can battle giant space ants, mechs and other space creatures on the go with Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable.

In honor of the release of The Hobbit last month, Lord of the Rings: War in the North has been discounted to $19.99. For those who are not familiar with the game, while the events of LOTRs are happening, a second team is sent to the North to prevent Sauron from gaining more strength.

Rounding out this week's Drop are the following games:

  • Rise of the Guardians- $39.99
  • Dance Magic- $9.99
  • SEGA Vintange Collection: Alex Kidd- $9.99
  • SEGA Vintange Collection: Monster World- $9.99
  • 5 PS2 Dora the Explorer games- $9.99 each

What did you think of the Xbox One reveal?

It was awesome! I already have one pre-ordered!!
It could have been better, but I think there's potential.
Microsoft needs to get their shit together before I buy this thing.
This piece of junk is going to fail faster than Windows ME.
