Pokemon X and Y coming October 2013

Nintendo held another Nintendo Direct early this morning, but this time it was called the name was changed to Pokemon Direct.  After a brief history of the Pokemon games, Nintendo President, Saturo Iwata, announced that a new Pokemon was going to be released for the 3DS:  Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. 

As expected, these new Pokemon games will feature new Pokemon and make full use of the 3DS features.  Unlike previous Pokemon games, Nintendo is planning a global launch of the new Pokemon games for October 2013.
