New Borderlands 2 character confirmed

On a random whim, a Borderlands 2 fan decided to ask Gearbox Software president, Randy Pitchford, if they planned to release a new character for Borderlands 2. The tweet is something that Borderlands 2 fans will be grateful for, because Randy responded.

I will probably never know why Randy decided to respond to this tweet, but he did. His response was as simple as it was awesome. "Yes- we're working on another character." We don't know when and we don't know who, but Borderlands 2 is about to see a new character.
