Rumor: Riot plans to rip through your chimney for a Christmas blast
Posted on December 08, 2012 by Nickolai Niver

Ignoring how suggestive the title of that news post is, rumor is that Riot has some sweet plans for summoners come Christmas. A new champion will be entering the Fields Of Justice hopefully before the end of the year named Vi. Not much is known about her except that it's likely she hails from Piltover and will be a brawler that could put Jayce to shame. It's probably safe to say that those hands of hers are for more than just holding things.

Following Vi, there have been uncomfirmed reports that Riot plans on giving everyone's favorite clown a new skin to celebrate League's one year anniversary in Korea.

In addition to Shaco's new skin, other champions are getting into the Christmas spirit. Here's a brief gallery of what's to come for summoners who have been nice this year.

Fiddlesticks

Ziggs

Veigar

Katarina

These are still rumors, and no release date has been set yet. Though we assume this is going to happen during Riot's annual Christmas patch, we don't want to get fans excited only to see Trundle get a new skin.
