Nintendo Direct for December reveals projected release dates for new games for Wii U and 3DS
Posted on December 05, 2012 by MikeV

It has been almost two and a half weeks since the release of the Wii U and already Nintendo is looking to next year. Today they had one of their Nintendo Direct live streams showcasing brand new and previously announced games that will be coming out in 2013. In the Direct Nintendo announced the following games coming to the Wii U in 2013:

  • Lego City Undercover
  • Pikmin 3
  • Watch & Wario
  • Wii Fit U

The 3DS also revealed a couple of games announcements for the system. These games will also come out 2013:

  • Lugi's Mansion Dark Moon
  • Brain Age Concentration Training
  • Fire Emblem Awaking

For a more detaled look at the games that were shown off, here's the archived video of the livestream:

While its good that the Wii U is getting more games, personally  I'm a bit underwhelmed at the games shown during the Direct. There was no menton of Monster Hunter 3G for either the 3DS or the Wii U.  Wonderfull 101 and Bayonetta 2, two exclusive games made for the Wii U by Platnium Games were also left out of the Direct. Hopefully Nintendo will mention these games in the next Direct.

What do you think about EA making Star Wars games?

If they get the right studios working on the games, they can be great!
I'll wait and see what they do with the franchise.
They're going to screw it worse than George Lucas screwed up the prequels!
