Amazon says The Last Guardian is delayed till 2014

If you pre-ordered The Last Guardian from Amazon, you may have received an email stating that the game has been pushed back to January 2, 2014. Developed by Team Ico, The Last Guardian seems to be in its own "development hell" as the game has had multiple delays since it was first announced back in 2009.
The date of January 2, 2014 seems to be a "placeholder" date for Amazon as the release day is a Thursday while new release games are released on Tuesday, which would have been December 31, 2013. No official word has come from Sony yet regarding this delay.
