Posted on September 19, 2012 by MikeV

In keeping with the last news post about Keiji Inafune, he also made an appearance at TemcoKoei's TGS press conference. The reason that he was there was to announced that Comcept and the DOA/Ninja Gaiden development team Team Ninja, will be collaborating on Yaiba. If you recall, Yaiba was a game that he revealed that he was working on last week in a press release. Now that he is teaming up with Team Ninja, the game has a new name, Yaiba, Ninja Gaiden. An extended trailer was also shown off, revealing who is Yaiba, why he has a cyborg arm and how Ryu Hayabusa fits into all of this:

In addition to bits of story points, the trailer also breifly shows some gameplay. Other than that, no release window has been set nor what console will Yaiba be on. It will be interesting to see how fans will take to what could be possibly Inafune's home console debut.
