A new game called 3D Cartoon Land: Safari has been released on the App Store, and it looks a hell of a lot like Super Mario 3D Land. The App Store is home to plenty of games that are complete rip-offs of other well-known games. Take a look and see games that sound almost like the more popular titles. Then you have games that play just like more popular games such as all the Angry Birds wannabes.
Developed by Walnut JZ, the game showed up on the App Store on September 13th, 2012 for only $0.99, and has this description:
Very simply yet very addicting, this unique game requires you to quickly jump over obstacles and collect coins. But you are not secure in this beautiful cartoon world. An angry tortoise could bite you. An easy and smooth control makes it very funny and to jump or run.
If you see the screenshots, it's pretty safe to say that the game is bit more than an homage to Mario. Pretty shameless to release a game like this, but then again, this is not the first or last rip-off we'll see.
