Creator of the DayZ mode for ArmA II, Dean "Rocket" Hall, has taken to his Tumblr page for help with his fellow Bohemia Interactive developers. Last week, news came from Greece that Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar from Bohemia Interactive were arrested for charges of espionage that could result in 20 years of prison. Buchta and Pezlar were allegedly taking pictures of a military camp where no forms of audiovisual media was prohibited and were detained by the local police.
Hall explains in his post that the developers were on holiday in Greece visiting the island of Lemnos that was used as a map in the upcoming ArmA III. Both Buchta and Pezlar helped Hall on a new map for DayZ called Chernarus Plus as well as befriended the New Zealand developer. Included in the post are also links to various Greek officials along with a link to HelpIvanMartin.org, a site made for the imprisoned developers to help spread the word of the misunderstanding.
