Kinect gets a price drop
Posted on August 22, 2012 by OG

Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb announced that the Kinect has a new price of $109.99 in the U.S. That's a nice drop from the previous price of $149.99. This is a good time for a price drop with the holidays coming up quickly.
Launched back in November 2010, the Kinect holds the record for being the fastest-selling consumer electronics device when it sold 8 million units in its first 60 days of launch. However, many owners have been feeling a bit of buyer's remorse over the lack of quality Kinect games making many wonder if the motion control movement has already ran its course.
