
Since the release of Silent Hill HD Collection back in March, the game has had a myriad of problems. it got so bad that Amazon pulled the game to decide whether they should continue to sell it or not, and that was AFTER a patch was released on launch day to fix problems with the game.
Today, Konami announced that a patch will be released for the PS3 version of the game via PSN, but the Xbox 360 patch has been cancelled. Konami states that the reason for cancellation was due to " technical issues and resources. " The patch will fix frame rate issues, audio-synching, and other reported problems.

Today, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced that while a PlayStation®3 online title update for Silent Hill HD Collection has been deployed for download via PlayStation®Network, plans for an XBOX®360 title update have been cancelled due to technical issues and resources.
Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, KONAMI issued a title update for Silent Hill HD Collection (PS3), which fixed frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues. KONAMI apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the XBOX 360 sku.
