After a lenghthy delay, the Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 grand finals were dominated by NorCal's coL. CC Filipino Champ. He faced for a second time a very strong LXG Infrint, with the team of Magneto, Dormammu, and Dr. Doom against Spencer, Nova, Sentinel. This set was not just a battle between two strong players but a battle between Nor and So Cal, but at the end Filipino Champ came out as EVO 2K12's UMVC3 champ. Here's the rest of the final standings:

The surprise during the Grand Finals was Justin Wong, who was favorited to win UMVC3 after being knocked out of SSFIV, was also knocked into Losers Finals and couldn't make a comeback. Like KOF13, hype was all over the place and made for great matches.
