EVO 2K12: Mad KOF of S. Korea is KOF 13 champion
Posted on July 08, 2012 by MikeV

In a stunning comeback after being knocked into losers finals yesterday, CafeID Mad KOF from South Korea beats Mexico's IGL Bala to become the new KOF 13 EVO 2K12 champion. Mad KOF barley beat out Bala 3 to 1 using Duo Lon, Chin and Kim against Bala's team of Billy,Takuma and, Shin. Bala was favored to win due to the various victories at different majors he attended but Mad KOF proved to be too much for him. CafeID in general had a great turn out, in addition to Mad KOF taking first, his teammates Verna and Guts took thrid and fourth place and Lacid tied for fifth. Here are the rest of the standing for the grand finals:

1. CafeID|MadKOF (Duo Lon, Chin, Kim)
2. IGL|Bala (Billy, Takuma, Shen | Others)
3. CafeID|Verna (Duo Lon, Shen, Kim | Others)
4. CafeID|Guts (EX Iori, Saiki, Shen | Others)
5. vVv|Romance (King, Benimaru, Yuri | Others)
5. CafeID|Lacid (Kyo, Ash, Kim)
7. AS|Reynald (Mr. Karate, Benimaru, Kim)
7. Yang Yao Ren (Mr. Karate, Hwa, Mature)

Its surprising to see the majority of the to 8 were from out of the country. Regardless of that, KOF 13 turned out to be one of the most hyped games coming into EVO this year and after two year since its release it deserves every bit of it.

What do you think about EA making Star Wars games?

If they get the right studios working on the games, they can be great!
I'll wait and see what they do with the franchise.
They're going to screw it worse than George Lucas screwed up the prequels!
