Last month it was reported that Seth Killian was leaving his position at Capcom after 6 years of working as their fighting game special advisor and many other roles. In his farewell post on the Capcom Unity site, he mentioned that he’s leaving Capcom to “chose a new path and allow him to embrace a new dream.”
That new path and dream has been revealed today on the Playstation blog. It turns out that Seth Killian has join with Sony at their Santa Monica Studio as a lead designer for their external group. This external group will be working with outside studios such as thatgamecompany, Queasy Games and most importantly SuperBot Entertainment, developers of the upcoming Playstation All Stars Battle Royale. Hopefully Sony will use Seth as the face of PASBR when they take the game on the road for everyone to try out, starting this weekend during EVO 2K12. Welcome to Sony Seth, and who knows, if he does a great job like he did over at Capcom, maybe Sony will name a boss after him as well.
