Two years ago, Playdead released Limbo and it made an impact on the industry. A small indie developer had created a new experience that people are still talking about today. New info for their follow-up game, codenamed "Project 2" for now, appears on the Danish Film Institute's website along with a concept image for the game shown above.
The info on the site has been translated and says:
“Playdeads second major project after the success of the game Limbo. Through unique puzzles and changing scenarios is told the story of a boy’s struggle against evil forces which through dubious experiments on human bodies, are trying to take over world. The game is in color and set in a 3D environment, while the gameplay is a 2D platforms.”
Even though some people give companies a tough time with sequels, I think I can stifle my contempt if a Limbo 2 gets released.
