Young Dante making his first appearance in DmC in January 2013

The new Devil May Cry game, better known as DmC, is coming out January 15, 2013 to the Xbox 360 and PS3 with a PC version coming sometime later. Developed by Ninja Theory, the new DmC has received quite a bit of backlash from fan, including death threats.
Capcom also announced that a new character that will be appearing in DmC, Kat. Kat is a former runaway that joined The Order early in her life. Being a medium and psychic, her task is to guide Dante on his mission through Limbo.
With another major release set for the beginning of 2013, it appears that the beginning of 2013 may outdo the usually powerful, and wallet-draining, holiday season of 2012.
