Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale revealed
Posted on April 27, 2012 by MikeV

It has been speculated for a while now that Sony was planning to develop a Smash Bros styled game using various Playstation characters from over the years. Last night’s big Sony reveal on GT TV confirmed these speculations. The game is called Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and is being developed by SuperBot Entertainment. After the show, Sony released a video on their Playstation Blog YouTube account showing of a bit more of the game in detail and showing off a few of the characters and the very interesting level designs:

The characters that have been announced so far are the following:

- Kratos (God of War)

- Radic (Killzone 2)

- Fat Princess (Fat Princess)

- PaRappa (PaRappa The Rapper)

- Sly (Sly Cooper)

- Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal)

Each character will have their own unique fighting style and will sport three levels of super/hyper moves to punish the competition. The level look to be very dynamic as hazards will be a plenty in the game. These range from Hades smashing his fist down on an unexpected fighter to an impromptu quiz from the Buzz game show host. More characters and levels will be revealed soon, as there will be a playable build at E3. Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is set to come out this year, most likely during the holiday season.

What do you think about EA making Star Wars games?

If they get the right studios working on the games, they can be great!
I'll wait and see what they do with the franchise.
They're going to screw it worse than George Lucas screwed up the prequels!
