Part of last year's batch of GOTY-caliber titles, Arkham City impressed everyone. What didn't impress everyone, however, was the amount of DLC that had been set for the game that included on-disc DLC for Catwoman (hmm didn't see any FTC complaints over that). To get gamers back into Arkham City, Warner Bros. Interactive is releasing Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition that's busting at the seams with content.
Included in this version will be the DLC packs for Catwoman, Robin, and Nightwing along with challenge maps, and skins for Batman that feature many of the different outfits of the Caped Crusader. Brand new for the GOTY Edition is the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC that will have players go back into Arkham City to fight the Joker's main squeeze, Harley Quinn. This DLC will add more than two hours to the game along with letting you play as both Batman and Robin. Another addition will be a Batman Year One movie download, an animated movie focusing on Batman first year as a superhero that was originall a series of Batman comics written by Frank Miller in 1987.
Arkham City Game of the Year Edition will be released on May 29th for Xbox 360 and PS3. Owners of Arkham City can also download the Harley Quinn's Revenge on the same date via Xbox Live and PSN. Warner Bros. Interactive created a trailer just for this edition of the game:
