Axel added in latest Twisted Metal update and Sweet Tooth shows up in StarHawk
Posted on April 17, 2012 by Oscar Gonzalez

Despite having a pretty rough launch due to online multiplayer issues, gamers have been having fun time with Twisted Metal. Now after three months of letting players cause car carnage and destruction, the game will be seeing its first free DLC update. This DLC contains the notorious Axel, the vehicle that straps the driver in between two monstrous wheels and instills fear in with its twin mounted chain guns. This DLC is for all of the players who missed out Axel when it was offered as a pre-order incentive.

Not content to limit his causing chaos and destruction on Earth, Sweet Tooth sets his sights on space, as announced back in January in the form of an outsider skin for the upcoming Starhawk. Today we get to see that skin in motion with the release of a trailer:

Every copy of Twisted Metal has a voucher to download the skin when Starhawk is released on May 8.
