Today was full of surprises at Konmani's Pre-E3 press conference. Two of the big surprises were when Hideo Kojima announced today the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and the Zone of the Enders HD Collection for the PS3 and XBox 360.
First up is the MGS HD Collection. This collection will contain Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. All three games will have updated HD graphics, new user interfaces, redrawn art, right analog stick support, rumble, improved audio and Trophies/Achievements. The MGS HD Collection is set to release this November.
Next is quite possible one of the most request game Kojima has gotten to do a sequel on, ZOE. ZOE HD Collection will be packed with ZOE and ZOE 2 and will also have updated HD graphics, new user interfaces, redrawn art, right analog stick support, rumble, improved audio and Trophies/Achievements and is set to release in 2012.
Now one of the more interesting features briefly mentioned was "Transfarring." From what is know so far is that this ables PS3 users to take their save file from that game, load it up onto the PSP version of the game and continue the game from there. This feature so far has only been announced for Peace Walker. Transfarring has also been announced for ZOE as well, which leads to some speculation that a ZOE for the NGP is in the works
