Tomb Raider Anniversary and Legends get the PS3 HD treatment
Posted on December 19, 2010 by Roy

In an announcement made by Crystal Dynamics Global Brand Director Karl Stewart, he has confirmed that Tomb Raider Anniversary and Legends will be getting an HD upgrade and will be bundled with Underworld. Known as the trilogy pack, the Blue Ray will contain all the games, with the two PS2 games getting Trophy support and updated HD graphics. This was first leaked out by Amazon Germany in a pre-order listing, which caused Stewart to go online and confirm the leak. Now this is confirmed for the Europe version of the three games. There's no word on a US release or if it will be release on a disk instead of on the PSN like Prince of Persia trilogy. Still its good to see developers recognize that PS3 owners want play their favorite PS2 games on the PS3, even if its a re-release on a Blue Ray. Here's hoping that Konami will follow this trend and release Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and 3 on Blue Ray.
