Pick where the next Yakuza takes place
Posted on October 27, 2011 by MikeV

In a 10 minuet broadcast of SEGA's Nico Nico channel, Yakuza series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi has announced that there will be a Yakuza 5. He also announced that most of the game will be taking place in Kamurocho again and a new secondary location. The twist is that fans will be able to choose what the secondary location is. On the official Yakuza website (which is in Japanese) fans have a choice of Sapporo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka. So if you're a fan of the Yakuza series and know enough Japanese to get through the website, head on over and vote for a city. I personally will vote for Osaka, a nice sunny beach view will contrast quite nicely against the urban jungle that is Kamurocho.
